Community Involvement

At Airport Marina Ford, We Support Our Community!

At Airport Marina Ford, we believe in making a positive impact on the lives of those around us. Recently, we had the privilege of helping the Morales family, who were facing significant challenges. After bringing their 2010 Ford F-150 in for repairs, we surprised them with a brand-new 2023 Ford Explorer valued at $36,000. Given the tough conditions they had been living in, we knew a reliable vehicle would make a huge difference in their lives. The new SUV, which comes with a Gold Certified warranty, will provide them with the stability they need as they move forward.

This act of kindness follows a viral incident earlier this year, when 10-year-old Alfredo Morales, who has autism, was slapped by a man over an alleged interaction with a luxury vehicle. The community quickly rallied behind the family, raising nearly $100,000 to support them. Alfredo is now attending a specialized school for children with autism, and the Morales family is focused on rebuilding their lives. We’re proud to have played a part in supporting this deserving family, and we’re committed to continuing to serve our community.

Airport Marina Ford and Local Community Raises Over $5,000 for Culver City High School

Airport Marina Ford and Culver City High School are partnering on Saturday, May 12, from 9 to 5in the Farragut School/Middle School faculty parking lot on the corner of Elenda Street and Farragut Drive for Ford’s Drive One 4 UR School event.

At this important event, members of the Culver City community can support the high school’s athletic programs by taking a test drive in any brand new Ford vehicle. For every test drive taken, Ford Motor Co. and Airport Marina Ford will donate $20 to the Culver City High School Booster Club. In total, the community can help raise up to $6,000 for the athletic programs, an amount that will be beneficial to the students. Every year, more arts, music and sports programs are cut due to budgetary constraints. This fundraising event is a unique way to fill some of those financial gaps.

Manager with winners

Ford Motor Company donated a new Ford Escape Hybrid to KCRW as part of their fund raising campaign. Airport Marina Ford’s sales manager John Hammond presents the keys of the new Ford Escape hybrid to the winners Paul Dreibelbis and Barb Dancy. Like Ford Motor Company, we support KCRW and the contribution their programming makes to our society.
