Reviews
AutomobileAutoWeekOne Liner
So much better than it has to be.
Most Liked
The Focus is much greater than the sum of its parts.
Least Liked
Anemic base engine.
Car and DriverComparison
[Focus' four-cylinder engines are] easily outpowered by the Neon's thrashier 150-horsepower four.
Most Liked
Handling refinement of the Focus is unsurpassed.
Consumer GuideOne Liner
Its ride motions are supple and absorbent, as if a road crew had carpeted the bumps.
Least Liked
Center armrest is mounted too high
Edmunds.comComparison
The [Honda] Civic rides softer and is quieter than Focus.
Most Liked
All Focuses, the wagon in particular, have generous cargo holds.
Motor TrendComparison
While its performance was lackluster compared to the Nissan [Sentra] and Chevrolet [Cavalier LS], the Focus still pulled strongly.
Least Liked
Build quality was disappointing.
New Car Test DriveLeast Liked
Plasticky trim bits fail to equal the rest of the car's overall quality.
Most Liked
Excellent head and legroom, even in back.
Road Test OnlineOne Liner
Like an eager puppy, the Focus ZX3 begs to go for a ride and you're just as happy to comply.
Savvy MotoringMost Liked
I especially like the grab-and-pull door handles.
USA TodayMost Liked
The highchair seating gives everyone better outward vision and excellent leg room in all positions.
Comparison
Focus wagon is more enjoyable to drive than the Daewoo Nubira or Hyundai Elantra, or even the Chrysler PT Cruiser.

Great handling makes every drive a grin opportunity.
Small, economical, and fun, the Ford Focus is a smart choice for those looking for a compact car. Available as a coupe or sedan the Focus includes only minor changes for 2010. The engine is a 140-hp 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder available with a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. The interior features an available SYNC system that allows the driver to synchronize mobile electronic devices such as mp3 players and cell phones. Four airbags are standard, and rear seats include headrests. Ford offers two series on the coupe, the SE and SES; and four on the sedan, the S, SE, sporty SES, and luxury SEL. New for 2010, Ford's MyKey, Message Center, anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control, remote keyless entry and power door locks are standard on all series. The 2010 Ford Focus is a carryover from 2009.
