There are three basic models of the Ford Super Duty range of pickup trucks: the F-250, F-350 and F-450.

1. Ford F-250 Super Duty
This model of Ford F-Series Super Duty’s truck is available in a number of body sizes, such as regular, extended and crew cab. Current versions of it are powered by either a 6.2 liter or 6.7 V8 engine. These engines both run on a 6 speed automatic transmission. No manual shift is available for this model. As a standard feature, they both have rear-wheel drive, although, an optional four-wheel drive package is available. Current versions of the Ford F-250 Super Duty are available in a number of trim levels, such as XL, XLT, Lariat and King Ranch. Some of the optional features that buyers can expect include a tow command and sync voice command systems. The Ford F-250 Super Duty is rated to haul loads of up to three quarters of a ton.

2. Ford F-350 Super Duty
This model of Ford Super Dutys truck is designed for even more heavy duty hauling work, when compared to the F-250 Super Duty ( it can haul up to one ton of cargo). This is thanks to a dual rear-wheel set up, which gives it more strength and stability while hauling cargo. Similar to the F-250, the F-350 Super Duty is available in three body sizes: regular, extended and crew cab. It is powered by a 6.2 and 6.7 liter V8 engine. It also runs on a 6speed automatic (no manual shift version available for this model), with rear-wheel drive.  It is available in three trim levels: XL, XLT and Lariat. Optional extras for this model include an intercooled turbo compressor, limited slip differential, and four-wheel drive.

3. Ford F-450 Super Duty
This is the highest ranked Ford Super Dutys truck, in terms of its hauling capabilities- 1.5 tons to be exact. To match this hauling capability, it is equipped with a powerful 6.7 lie V8 engine. To make it more maneuverable, the Ford F-450 Super Duty is fitted with a radius arm front suspension setup. From an aesthetic point of view, it does not look that much different from the other Ford Super Duty CA models, except that it only comes with one body size (crew cab), which makes it appear bigger than the other models. It also has dual rear wheels, which contribute to greater stability and handling of the truck. Transmission and trim levels are similar to the other models, except that it has for-wheel drive as a standard feature. Color options for the Ford Super Duty include autumn red (red), black (black), blue pearl metallic (dark Blue), ingot silver  metallic (grey), oxford white (light grey) and pale adobe metallic (light brown).
