I’m writing this letter to express my gratitude for the best car experience I have ever encountered with a Dealership in twenty years. Never in my life have I been at a dealership where everyone had the same professional, caring, and sincere attitude throughout the entire staff, from sales and finance to service.

 

I want to acknowledge all the people that helped me to find the right car and take care of all my needs even after the sale. Tim Coonce, Tim Kamotto, Gene Rehnquist, and Rafael Campos attended to all my needs and went beyond most to make sure I was completely satisfied and all my questions or concerns were addressed.

 

Unfortunately within the first day I experienced some serious issues with the Ford 500 I just purchased, so I called Tim.  Tim called me back right away on his day off and simply said, I apologize for any inconvenience, bring it back and I will personally make sure we take care of any problems before redelivering the car back to you, and don’t worry, it won’t cost you a dime no matter what we have to do to make it right.  Tim’s comments immediately reduced my stress level giving me the reassurance that everything was going to be OK. I brought the car back and gave it to Rafael in the used car service department.

 

Rafael immediately found and fixed all the problems which were due to some factory defects related to the transmission and electrical system and the car was ready the next day. When I picked up the car, I noticed the difference right away. It was running perfectly! Tim called me back that afternoon after I had picked up the car to make sure everything was OK. I told him I was very happy and thanked him for his efforts.

 

Funny thing I almost bought the same type of car from a private party instead of the dealer because it was cheaper. After this experience, my advice to all my family and friends is never buy a “used” car from a private party but purchase from a reputable Dealership like Airport Marina Ford. They will stand behind what they sell and have the resources if anything goes wrong. With a private party you are all alone with no support after the sale which could cost you a lot more in the end. Always remember you get what you pay for!

 

Oh and by the way, I live in San Diego and will tell all my friends and family that it is worth the drive to Los Angeles to visit your dealership because the car experience is unlike any other anywhere I have lived or traveled in my life.

I'm contacting you to express my appreciation for the fine customer service afforded me by Leonard Ferrigno and Robert Juarez of your Service Department. I've had a longstanding and very frustrating problem with my low mileage 2006 PS motor and had wasted seven visits / 3 weeks of my time dealing with incompetents at South Bay Ford. Massive irritation prompted this life-long Ford loyalist to contact Mark at Ford Customer Care who interceded and directed me to Mr. Ferrigno's personal care - for which I am particularly grateful.

As a construction professional who relies on the dependability of my vehicles, I am now confident that I can rely on your automotive professionals to keep my truck running dependably!
